In Germany distilling plants and other equipment and articles intended for non-commercial extraction or purification of alcohol are prohibited. As a private person you are not allowed to purchase such devices in Germany.
Should no alcohol be produced or purified, eg. Hydrolates, essential oils, etc., you may also purchase and own devices as a private individual. Up to 2 liters of tank volume, these are not to report.
The only way in which you, as a private individual in Germany, are allowed to extract alcohol from distilled fruit products using certain conditions is to issue a burning permit for so-called substance owners.
