Accessory set with pump for miniature copper stills up to 3 litres- Not suitable for our stainless steel stills This set includes everything you need to be able to distil immediately and seriously with our stills up to about 3 litres. The pump is powerful enough to safely supply even all mini nestling in the range 0,5 to 3 litres size (as they may be used legally in Austria and from 2018 Germany or Switzerland) with cooling water. First and foremost, the set contains a functionally-sized cooling system for the still, but there are also other accessories for cleaning and sealing. In addition, when purchasing a stainless steel still together with the accessory set the right hose fittings for our coolers are there.
The set includes a 10-liter plastic tub as a cooling water depot (the water must be replaced several times in larger distilleries), plus a 230-volt cooling water pump, plus several meters of food-grade tubing in four different sizes so you can safely connect any distillery. The hoses can be partially inserted into each other and can thus also bridge different connections and adapters. In addition, a cleaning brush, a swim thermometer, a roll of Teflon tape for sealing the still and a 100 ml graduated cylinder to the distillate safely collecting and measuring.

Cooling set with pump for our stainless steel distillers up to 20 litres
This set contains everything you need to start serious distillation immediately, even with our unobtrusive 2-litre stainless steel distillers.
Set accessories
20 litre plastic tub as cooling water reservoir
Powerful 230V cooling water pump with accessories for different hose diameters, sufficient for all our stainless steel stills up to 10 litres.
Various 2m PVC hoses, 2 of which have hose fittings for the still cooler:
The first hose goes from the pump to the 1/2‘ connection of the condenser near the distillate outlet at the bottom. The second hose is connected to the 1/2’ connection for the hot waste water at the top of the condenser. The other end with the 3/4‘ connection is led to where the waste water should go, so back into the bucket when pumping. The 3/4’ connection is now new - previously this end remained open. The reason for this innovation is that you can replace the hoses if you have running water nearby. Most house connections have a 3/4’ thread, so you can connect the 2nd hose from the running water supply to the water inlet of the cooler. The 1st hose is then connected to the top of the cooler and the hot waste water now comes out of the black pump screw nipple. The pump is not needed for this cooling variant. So you now have two options for cooling. In addition to these two hoses, there are three hoses of different strengths for various applications.
Plastic tap for cooling water control, suitable for the counterflow cooler.
Scaled 100 ml measuring cylinder with foot to safely collect and measure the distillate.
Cleaning brush.
Floating thermometer for cooling water control if the hot waste water is allowed to flow back into the bucket. From 40° C, the water should either be cooled with ice or replaced.
A roll of Teflon tape for sealing, e.g. if a seal fails during distillation.

Accessory set with pump for stailess-steel stills up to 20 literes
This set includes everything you need to ferment 20 liters of mash or to be able to distil immediately and seriously with our 2 liter stainless steel stills.
We would like to point out to our German customers that the fermented mash may not be distilled by private individuals in Germany.
20 liter plastic bucket as mash or cooling water reservoir.
Fermentation attachment for plugging into the lid with a sealed hole.
Outlet tap for mash extraction.
Powerful 230 volt cooling water pump with accessories for different hose diameters, sufficient for all our stainless steel stills up to 10 liters.

Plastic tap for cooling water regulation, suitable for the walking flow cooler.
Graduated 100 ml measuring cylinder with foot to be able to safely collect and measure the distillate.
Cleaning brush.
Floating thermometer for checking the cooling water if you let the hot waste water run back into the bucket. Above 40°C, the water should either be cooled with ice or changed. During fermentation, it can be used to measure the fermentation temperature.
A roll of Teflon tape for sealing, e.g. if a seal becomes defective during distillation.

Stainless steel burning protection The safest protection against burning of mash, when distilling, is a water bath still. But with directly heated boilers you must have devices that prevent burning with high security. The first step is to keep the thick components of a mash away from the heated bottom. This is achieved primarily by a mash strainer. But a mash strainer alone is not a 100% burning protection. If the liquid component of a mash still contains starch, the liquid can also burn. To find that out, you should either do an iodine starch test, or cheaper, put a small amount of the liquid mash in a small pot and do a burning test on the stove. If the small amount burns, precautions must be taken.
If you know that you do not use 100% ripe fruit, burn is likely. In this case, it is advisable to use an amylase, which converts residual starch into sugar. This not only reduces the danger of burning, but also increases the yield.
Nevertheless, you should perform the above-mentioned burning test after fermentation. If the sample still tended to burn despite using an amylase, in addition to the mash sieve for instance a mash bag, as we offer it here in different sizes. This can not only keep solid components off the ground, but also filter out residual yeast. The combination of amylase, mash screen and filter bag or filter cloth should prevent burning.
Aroma basket Is not it just protection against burning, but that either, in Germany only for commercial applications, alcohol vapor flows through fruits or herbs to obtain an aromatized distillate, or steam distillations to produce hydrosol and essential oils to be carried out, which is also in Germany is allowed, one uses a height-adjustable aroma sieve. This is placed in a still above the neutral alcohol or water and filled with fruits, flowers or herbs and will be distilled.
Lavender is a member of the mint family and is often used for perfume extraction.
You are purchasing a product that is ideally suited for the extraction of essential oils and fragrant hydrolates. The aroma-protected and light-protected packaging ensures a consistently excellent quality for a long time.
Simply fill the flowers in the plant / drug room. The flowers must not be pressed. Close your system and distil at medium to high heat setting. For drug containers height> diameter, you can set the heating level higher. Find out the ideal distillation speed for your system yourself. The lavender flowers offered here have a high oil yield.
