DESTILLIERMEISTER Hobby-EH2
Legal 2 liter Hobby still made of stainless steel with distilling helmet for essential oils - registration free
Construction of optimized distilleries for over 10 years
A registration-free hobby still made of stainless steel. With this beautiful distillery you can produce hydrolates, essential oils and distilled water.
In Austria or Switzerland, you can also use this still legally as a classic potstill with helmet for making a brandy. Or you can fill the helmet's aroma basket with fruits or herbs to create a delicious spirit.
Easy to use:
-
Fill approx. 1.5 liters of distilled water into the boiler,
-
fill the half-closed and raised aroma basket with fresh herbs or flowers, or with drugs and place in the cauldron,
-
Seal as described below,
-
Put on helmet 2. with distillation module 3. and tighten tension locks 1.1,
-
Screw the water hoses to the radiator, connect one end (3.4) to a submersible pump (eg aquarium pump), and the other end (3.5) into a cooling water reservoir.
-
Switch on the heat source and collect the hydrolate and oil at 3.7,
Distil for a maximum of 30 minutes over medium heat. After 15 minutes, the original should be changed for the first time, the amount of oil assessed and the ph value determined.
The distilling pot and all distillate pipes are made of stainless steel.
The DESTILLIERMEISTER Hobby-EH2 is easy handling. It is ready to use in a few simple steps.
For heating, preferably place the distillery on an induction plate.
For cooling, you need a pot, bucket or bowl of cold water - 10 liters should be enough. With a simple, low-power pump (such as aquarium pump), you are channeling water from the reservoir to port 3.4. You can also purchase the stills in a set with the necessary accessories.
The hot water leaves the cooling above 3.5. They redirect it back to their water container.
Construction
-
Water / steam boiler, 2 liters. It is about 1.5 liters of water, best distilled, filled in the pot.
-
Clamping closures for firmly closing the pot.
-
Distiller helmet, and firmly connected with it:
-
The distillation bridge,
-
Riser,
Thermometer socket,
-
spirit pipe,
-
Cooling water inlet,
-
Hot water outlet,
-
Double-tube cooler in countercurrent (outer shell, inner soul),
-
Distillate outlet.
-
Distillation thermometer with plug for insertion in 3.2.
The thermometer is inserted from the upper, thick end of the plug and pushed through until the black mark on the thermometer looks just down straight out. Before inserting the thermometer, apply some edible oil to the thermometer at the lower colored end. After distillation, the thermometer remains best in the plug because it is easy to break when pulled out.
-
Adjustable aroma basket for holding the plant matter. The basket can extend as far as possible into the helmet. So a very considerable amount of plant matter can be processed in a distillation.
Insert the seal
The gasket is simply slipped around the pot rim as in the example below so that the short sealing lip is on the outside. At the ends it is inserted abutting each other. It is best to push the ends together at the point where a tension lock is located.
Put on the helmet with the distillation module and first tighten the lock at the edge of the joint.
